Adam and Eve

Story suggestion:

Genesis 2:4-25; Genesis 3

God formed man out of the dust of the ground. He named this first man Adam. God took a rib from Adam’s side and formed it into the first woman, Eve. God put this couple into a wonderful garden called Eden. He told them to freely eat of all the fruit in the garden, but He commanded them not to eat the fruit of one tree.

The serpent was more crafty than any other animal. He spoke to Eve and tempted her to eat the fruit God told them not to eat. Eve listened to the serpent and ate the fruit. Then she gave some to Adam, and he ate it.

Because Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they had to leave their wonderful home.
