Preschool Hymns:
These hymns are designed as a tool for teachers to help preschoolers memorize Bible verses and “hide ‘em in their hearts” in a fun and easy way. Each verse has been matched to the music of a familiar children’s song like “London Bridge” or “Oh, How I Love Jesus”. Since the youngsters only learn the words, not the tunes, memorizing Bible verses becomes a favorite way to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Hyphenated words should be sung as separate syllables so wording fits the rhythm of the tunes. Try them yourself before teaching them, and feel free to make adjustments if necessary so the words fit the tune as well as your personal style.
Teachers will be delighted to see how quickly preschoolers learn to sing these verses and hide God’s words in their precious hearts and minds.
